 1. Overview  

  • The main objective of the mia.bnm.md website (hereinafter referred to as the website) is to provide accessible, accurate, consistent, and up-to-date information of public interest regarding the MIA Instant Payment System. 
  • The MIA Instant Payment System and the website are owned and operated by the National Bank of Moldova (BNM). 

2. Terms of Use 

  • The use of this website is conditional upon the user’s total acceptance of the terms and conditions of use. 
  • The NBM is not responsible for any losses incurred by a person who bases their decisions, actions or inactions on the information published on the NBM website. 
  • Information published on the website is the object of continuous reviews and updates. Therefore, the NBM reserves the right to make modifications the content and structure of the website at any time, without prior notice. 
  • The NBM performs sustained efforts to maintain the continuous functioning of the website, and to minimize possible interruptions. The NBM cannot be considered liable for situations where the website or certain information published on it becomes unavailable for any reason, to the users. 
  • The NBMs website provides links to other sites considered to be useful. Because they are not under the authority or control of the institution, NBM shall decline any liability concerning their content. 
  • Individuals who access the website of the NBM, as users, agree not to abuse in any way the content and functionality of the website, namely with reference to cyber-attacks, security vulnerabilities scans, reproductions of the website etc. Otherwise, the violation of these terms will involve the responsibility of all guilty parties under the civil and criminal legislation of the Republic of Moldova. 

3. Copyright 

  • The copyright of the entire contents of the website are entirely owned by the National Bank of Moldova. 
  • The NBM allows free acces to the information published on its website. 
  • Information published on the NBMs website may be copied or printed, for personal use only. 
  • The reproduction and distribution of website pages, full or partial, in any form and by any means is permitted only by indicating the source. In case of processing by user, of statistical data published on the website, this must be mentioned explicitly. If the information published on the NBMs website is used in documents intended for sale, legal or natural persons who publish such documents are required to notify customers, before they make any payments, as well as indicating each time information taken from the NBMs website is used, because information may be obtained free of charge from the NBMs website. 
  • The users have the right to put links to the NBMs website on their own pages, on the condition that the original context will be upheld, by opening a new window in order view it. 

  4. Personal Data 

  • The NBM does not collect implicit personal data about the NBM website’s users. At each website access, NBM servers automatically record only information submitted by the visitor's browser (date and time of access, IP, browser type, etc.). 
  • There are cases when, in order to receive a service through the website (ex. a feedback form, subscribing to press releases, news and other notices - RSS), some information of a personal nature (e.g., name, e-mail) will be requested. 
  • In accordance with the legal framework for the protection of personal data, the NBM ensures safe and personal data management, only for the specified purposes which are provided. Recorded information will be used only by website administrators and by the NBMs structures which they are intended. Personal information collected will not be disclosed outside of the institution.
